This reminds me of something I was meaning to do and tell you guys - I have every single Avalyn digest stored and archived since 1996. I'm currently working my way through the 1999 - 2003 ones. I have to do this since the old mailing list didn't really format them properly or filtered out things that weren't supposed to be added to the digest. Once I'm done with this I'll put them up on a webpage and add them to the ftp archive.

Alternatively, call/email Claire Records or whatever, the one Daniel Sobus (maybe his name?) runs out of FL (used to be, anyway). i'm sure they have a website, and if you really can't find it, i could probably look it up
