What an interesting observation! I wonder if people who habitually dream themselves into the PoV character and hence tend to always be participative would tend to be happier about explicit material (on the me erotica, you porn, him filthy disgusting... argument)?
I'm rather the opposite; unless I can attach to one or both characters I can hardly bear to read (voyeurism not being one of my kicks). In writing terms, as my identification B7 characters are male, I'd find writing het sex as erotica pretty tricky (was this in the original set of reasons? I can't find the post...)
