Speaking as a chunky person myself, I wouldn't go that far--but I think it's a little conspicuous for guerilla work.
I liked it. As for conspicuousness, well, it depends. In the dark, red is nearly as good as black for reflecting little light. And there wasn't much in the way of vegetation on the planet, it seems.
Wasn't the vegetation red?
