The initial US release was on the Philadelphia PBS station in 1985-86. IMO Gareth may be mistaken. Nothing was banned here. The series was run twice. The first time was five days a week, Monday-Friday. The second time was once a week for 52 weeks. Made it very easy to tape it twice. Now I have 3 copies, the first 2 off the air and the 3rd, the "professional" tapes.
