Hi, the best way to find out what a convention is like and what people do there is to read the diaries written by the people who went to the previous Redemption.
There's 16 diaries on http://www.hermit.org/Blakes7 and a dozen set of photos as well as reports on individual events like the 'cricket' match and some items from the cabaret.
That should give you a spread of views ranging from Richard who spent most of his time in the dealer's room, through some serious party animals, to people who tried all sorts of things.
