Shouldn't we do something in memory? Hold a wake? Work out once and for all <veg> who made it through the shooting party? Have a 'most creative or unlikely PGP' competition? Or just weep into our virtual glasses in salute?
According to Paul Darrow, only Avon survived. Pity, as Michael Keating has been involved in cons and the two radio plays, and I'm sure he'd be pleased to do at least a guest spot in the film...
I'd prefer to believe more survived than Avon. Dayna's probably dead; she looked it, and was the only one shot with Arlen's gun. The others all went down, but there was no blood; perhaps they were stunned. Or as Chris Boucher said in the Tony Attwood guide book, they went down in slow motion so it could always have been regarded as a drug-induced dream. He also said that he could have brought back any character whose actor wanted to be in a 5th season. Michael Keating also said in the same book that he thought Vila would have survived and got away, probably by stowing away on a ship and going to ground somewhere. Sorry, the book's at home so I'm quoting from memory.
