Agreed, with the additional complication that I can't think of any discriminate murders (or, I suppose, most people would say justified killings) that would actually improve the situation. If bin Laden is responsible (and he might not have anything to do with it other than being glad it happened), then if he died a slow, horrible death I don't think it would be UNJUST--I do, however, think that it would serve as a wonderful recruiting tool for more terrorists seeking another round of revenge.
And if, by some miracle, all X people involved in planning and carrying out the World Trade Center and Pentagon attacks were arrested (and no one else was), they all got a fair trial, and were all imprisoned or executed, then that STILL wouldn't build a new Trade Center complex, much less bring back even one single person who died.
