Actually, that's a good topic for speculation, especially since there's no S5 to screw up the flow of imagination :-). Anyone like to guess at whether or not Servalan *did* manage to claw her way back?
Me, I think not. For all the success of the Pylene program - and her success at becoming very very rich with the stolen gold - she did seem to be as stuck as an Outer World Commissioner at the end as she was earlier in the last series, she's no nearer to the *centre* of power. Call it pure personal preference, but I have this fond picture of her still a Commissioner (or even going subtly backwards), but still talking of how she expects to get her beloved power back, ten years on ...
Anyone see it the other way?
