Yes, that would have been brilliant, and probably very easily done with dialogue. Still, makes fanfic more interesting <g>

Yes, I would have liked that too. 'Colditz' spends the first four episodes introducing each one of the main characters, and their individual stories of how they ended up in 'Colditz', without using the other cast members. They're fab episodes.
