I suppose Avon is the most ambiguous character (and how many Richard III fans 'go' for Avon as a preference?)
Don't know about the Ricardians, but amongst the Pratchett fans there seems to be a strong correlation between Avon admiration and Vetinari admiration, whether of the "wouldn't kick that out of bed" or more platonic types of interest.
