Some people have asked about Star Hunter. I did a search on the web and found it's a Canadian show. I could find details of only one season. If you're interested, here's a description I found. There's a character called Travis! As it's on between Andromeda and Lexx, I'll tape it and see what it's like. I won't hold my breath though...

Star Hunter description from the web:
Star Hunter is a space-based action/adventure drama series with an attitude. The series takes place in the dangerous frontier of space where there aren't many rules, and few to enforce the ones there are. The year is 2275. Earth has more or less successfully colonized the entire solar system. But our reach has surpassed our grasp. As in the American 'Old West', the "law of the land" is spotty and unreliable. Things are dangerous out there.it has become the Wild West of outer space. As the colonies continuously push further and further out from Earth, lawlessness and crime expand right along.
With the vast distances between Earth and its colonies, the abilities of basic policing services are maxed out. The use of private forces like bounty hunters, known as 'starhunters', has become common practice. Their job: to bring to justice, for the monetary reward, the epidemic of criminals terrorizing the colonies.
On Star Hunter, Bounty Hunter Dante Montana along with his niece Percy and his mysterious munitions expert Lucrectia, (Luc) and their holographic first mate, Caravaggio take their aging hunter ship, The Tulip, in pursuit of dangerous interplanetary criminals.
What the Dante Montana doesn't realize though, is that one of his crew members, Luc, is a Covert operative working for an organization called The Orchard. The Orchard is run by Luc's father, Darius. Darius and Luc are privy to the fact that scientists have discovered a sequence of four specific genes called the Divinity Cluster, which, at some point in the history of human evolution, were purposefully hidden by aliens within the human genome. Various criminals in space, particularly the ones for whom Dante is hunting, are trying to bridle the power of these genes and profit from any scientific exploitation of them. Luc knows that 2 of the genes are beneficial to the evolution of the human species, but the other 2 are detrimental to it. By working with Dante as a bounty hunter, Luc has access to criminals who might be involved in the exploitation of the Divinity Cluster genes.
The greatest evil force is a group known as The Raiders, Dante Montana's archenemies. Ten years earlier, they stole Dante's son, Travis and killed his wife, Penny along with his niece Percy's parents. While Percy and Dante have accepted the deaths, Dante roams the galaxy in search of Travis whom he believes is still alive and living amongst the Raiders.
The true purpose of the Divinity Cluster is, so far, a mystery. But, behind the scenes on Star Hunter, competing covert forces are waging a desperate war to unlock and control the secrets of this powerful, mind-shattering knowledge.
I did hear about a show with a similar sounding premise called Tracker. It had that bod Adrian Paul from the HIghlander TV series in it?

Surely I'm not the only person who had these two names catch their eye...

Travis and Penny...related at last? Though I'm sure she'd rather be something besides his deceased mother...

P.S. His niece, *Percy?* Strange show.
