The similarities with Andromeda and Blake's 7 were too close I believe to have been coincidence. There were even plot similarities in earlier episodes, though they also did a straight Borg rip off and not as good. The first season of Andromeda was OK but nothing over special, though there were a lot of unanswered questions to tempt us with. Season two though is really rocking with some very good episodes and an arc.
There is no Andromeda this Monday on Sky. As we have been having these episodes at the same time as the US (and sometimes ahead), does anyone know if this is because the US is in a mid-season break?
As to Babylon 5, there were a number of tributes to Blake's 7, including the design of one of the ships being based on the Liberator.

No, we've been getting new episodes here since the beginning of the season. Unless there's a break coming up after this week's ep.
