I think he *becomes* more aware of it over time. 'Tis a little hard not to when the most desirable woman in the galaxy clearly fancies you (yes, he's also very aware that a lot of his appeal is the lovely shiny interstellar hot rod he inherited from Blake, but not *all* of it :-) and perfect strangers drag you off to secluded caves and tell you how beautiful you are.

But I don't think he shows much *interest* in it, except when he can use it as a weapon (Sarcophagus, Power). Unquestionably, his sense of superiority does come first and foremost from his intellect.
