I agree with Sally - I don't think Vila would get rid of Blake. he does actually seem to like him. Blake is nicer to Vila than the rest of them for the most part...not quite as scathing about his intelligence/cowardice/abilites/whatever. He's one of the few who ever bothers to thank him or tell him well done too.
