Julie, who doesn't quite seem to understand the replies she's getting, said:
doing pornographic drawing of them in various positions of sexual activity is an abuse of fan power. The question you have to ask yourself is "Would I like it done to me?" You know what the answer is.
Well, since we've just been told that it's stupid to ring somebody up to ask for his opinion, I'll pronounce off the top of my head: Steve would love it.
But Judith wouldn't publish it, if I recall correctly, because she has a policy against pornographic artwork in her zines. This suits me, as it's not an art form that does anything for me, but it doesn't bother me that other people enjoy it.
I don't intend to post again on what has become a very silly thread, but while I've been stung into it may I add to the hagiography of Judith. Over the past five years, she has been high on the roll of list-members for whom I have formed great respect and affection. All of these people have flaws (including Gareth), but I haven't detected them in operation this week. The sensitive way in which Judith chaired the slash panel on Sunday typified what I admire in her.
Hell, this is no way to deal with post-con depression.
