Gan. Actually, Gan's the only one through the whole 4 seasons I'd give it to. The others all have far too strong an over-riding mission (Blake, Cally, Dayna), or are all *too* fallible to be able to resist. Or both :-)

Best of all (sorry, everyone but my fellow enthusiasts!) Jarriere. Come on, he even looks a bit like a hobbit!!!

I thought of Vila in the Sam role, which is appealing but just doesn't strike me as likely, so maybe Cally (or if Jarriere's the Ringbearer, Gan could be Sam).

Presumably on foot (and oh, the complaining there'd be!!!) Are they allowed to take proper weapons (otherwise this Quest would come to a screaming great halt round about 2 pages *after* the Council :-)? And Orac?

Blake might end up killed in the fighting (and Jenna and Avon, since they'd almost certainly be *with* Blake). Vila would somehow manage to survive, he survives everything.
