That's a little bit better than being woken up by a clock radio telling you that something, um, bad, if you'll pardon the understatement, has happened but not getting around to telling what for several minutes afterward.

And then all the snatches of interviews with understandably hysterical people come on. If there's a day when I think I would need to listen to the radio... well, trust my walkman to blow some component last night.
