Did anyone else catch the fleeting B7 reference on last night's show?
The housemates were practising for this week's task and Dean (the only one with a greater than room temperature IQ) made several derogatory remarks about the protective clothing they were required to wear, including the comment that it was "a bit Blake's Seven..."
I think he was referring to the shoulder pads which were ever-so slightly Avonish.
This has just given me a thought, if the B7 crew were in the Big Brother house - who would nominate who for eviction?

The Times and B7 Season 4
I have been looking through some of the microfilms of The Times (did anyone else know that the first demonstration of microwave cooking occurred in 1932?), and as I was 'doing' 1981 I looked up the entries for the fourth season in the TV pages. Some of the comments recognisably describe the episodes in question but comments include 'Adventures of a space rocket crew somewher in the Universe', 'interplanetary romp' and 'space age adventures'. For episode 'Blake' the comment is 'Final episode. Is it really Blake who is bounty hunting?' There is also a picture of Gareth Thomas (so named) in the 'Choice' section.

I agree about Gan, but I would think he would vote out Blake so that he can get control of the ship, or Tarrant in S3 and S4.

I think Jenna would vote out Avon purely on the grounds she dislikes him - and Vila.
Vila would vote out Tarrant, and after Orbit, Avon.
First crew I think Vila would vote out Blake - he gets him into dangerous situations, and probably Gan as even though he likes him he thinks the others are more use to him. Second crew Tarrant definitely but don't know, not Avon at least not until after Orbit as you say.

***Agreed about Gan, who has no redeeming features except his size, but not so sure about Vila. Vila's "special skill" is valuable, and if Blake didn't recognise this he'd be pretty daft, IMO.
