Joyce Bowen asked me to post a message for her.
She lost her computer a few weeks ago. Her e-address book, among other things, went with it. If you've written to her and not heard back, that's why.
She has a new computer but hasn't been able to get lysator to accept her posts, which is why I'm writing for her.
Fans who want to contact Joyce should email her at the same address, JEB31538@cs.com. She'll rebuild her address book as mail comes in.
Thanks, Carol
BOTH time my mails were called suspicious because of the headers and all I did for one was to say "back online" and for the other just to reply to the latest digest in general --which I have seen others do. There is nothing suspicious about either header so I am guessing that there's a problem with this new computer fitting into the Lysator system. I may have to unsubscribe and resubscribe, perhaps. Anyway--it's just one more damn problem to deal with. So what else is new when it comes to the world of computers! <grin>

No, what she has to do is to make her machine stop sending webpages (a.k.a. "HTML-formatted email") and start sending plain text messages instead. As long as people insist on using Microsoft's wildly insecure mailreaders, I'll be extremely restrictive in what sort of non-text content gets accepted here. At the moment, I'm rejecting one or two viruses sent to the list _per day_.
