Julia's keeping me roughly posted with life here.
I thought that it might possibly happen that with all these pseudonyms, varied e-mail accounts etc, that Tavia might be the next person to have her identity questioned (as she posted a message for Fiona).
Just in case, I'm posting this to pre-empt any doubts.
Tavia's real, I've met her, and I pay her cheques when I sell zines for her.
I can't speak for any other person involved, but Tavia's e-mail matches the person I send the money to.

Despite the opinions of a certain snarly individual in black leather, trust is the basis of a civilised society.
Personally, I propose to assume that anyone posting to this list is posting in good faith, unless I am given serious reason to doubt their bona fides. For the record I have been given no such reasons in Tavia's case.
The alternative is paranoia, which doesn't strike me as being a particularly happy condition.

Let me disabuse you of that notion. I've been paranoid most of my life (just ask my friends) and at least I can be content that I was generally right ;-)
