I doubt they'd have taken time out at that stage to do it - Zen would still be on his search and rescue for Blake (and presumably Jenna, even if her crewmates *were* already going "Jenna who?"), and I can't see either Avon or Vila wanting to put the welfare of a whole lot of strangers before that. But later, after they'd run out of options and before Avon thought up his little revenge plan, Cally *might* have wanted to (might, because at this stage Cally doesn't seem to have many ideas on what she wants to do with their lives either).
