Det tar en stund att vänja sig, men när man väl vant sig så susar man fram.
Jag skulle rekomendera en mellan eller hög racer om du är ute bland trafiken om det gäller två hjul. Det finns t.ex. raptobike (finns en till salu på Gotland om inte en viss person ångrar sig) som är en låg racer. Kan vara svårt att hålla koll på trafiken. Finns olika varianter med styret, jag har själv en mellan racer http://taiyingsystems.com/ty-968.php#b och "riktigt" styre eftersom jag aldrig hade testat liggcykel förut innan jag köpte min. Har fått för mig att det är lättare att komma igång med "styre" än styrning under sätet... men jag kan ha fel... ;)
Även om det finns en hel del olika varianter med motorkit till cyklar så tror jag det blir billigare att sätta motorn på det hjulet som inte driver. På en liggcykel så vill man ha växlar, även om man har motor. Tar batteriet slut så är man dömd att få kämpa med cykeln, särskilt i uppförsbackar när man inte kan stå och inte har växlar att falla tillbaka på... ;)
Hittar du en liggcykel med navväxel så är det att föredra framför utanpåliggande, eftersom du kan växla stillastående. Bra om man glömmer bort sig när man stannat... Har man ingen navväxel så går det bra med utanpåliggande eftersom man kommer på sig själv att växla ner i en korsning om man glömt det tidigare.
Det finns nya ombyggnadskit på Blocket ( http://www.blocket.se/stockholm/Ombyggnadskit_El_cykel__250W__500W__1000W_24... ) som inte är jättedyra, finns 20, 24, 26 och 28" hjul som passar i de vanligaste framgafflarna. Dock så är det bästa att mäta innan så att man ser att de får plats utan att bända isär gaffeln för att få plats med hjulet. Det du får tänka på är om du kör med en cykel med skivbromsar och att det funkar på de nya däcken med motor.

När man kommer till mina finska kompisar så verkar de inte handla direkt ifrån tillverkaren TaiYing längre, utan de kör med "Performance Recumbent" som i sin tur får de tillverkade utav TaiYing. Ett mellanled som oxå vill tjäna pengar. Vet inte om TaiYing har hittat någon svensk dealer (eller om de helt kör via Performance nuförtiden... länge sedan jag pratade med Teresa på TaiYing)...
Hade man bott i USA eller om man har kontakter där så har man alltid actionbent.com , dock så verkar de inte vara intreserade att skicka över till slutkund i Sverige. :( Ska du importera utanför EU så får du hålla koll på tull och moms, det slipper man inom EU. Tycker dock själv att de "Europeisk" tillverkade cyklarna kostar för mycket och hade tur när jag köpte min via en finlänsk liggcykelförening... Just då fanns inte så många begangade i Sverige.
