Vi har Sanningen - som är falskhetens ohejdbare vedergällare, Kaptenen - den tappre och självuppoffrande soldaten, Den Lilla Ängeln - vars kyssar medför döden. Och många fler. Som liten pojke togs Del Pierce över av en farligt leklysten ande man trodde hade drivits ut, men när den kommer åter drivs han att söka upp Valis - som besätter författaren Philip K Dick, Moder Mariette - en nunna som inte direkt uppmuntrar kyskhet, och det hemliga sällskapet Human League som svurit att utrota alla dessa demoner.
Jag kan leva med vilken som helst av böckerna men håller med Tommy om att det kan vara kul att prova någon ny författare, dvs Gregory.
MacDonald är alltid bra och den ska jag ändå läsa med tanke på att han är hedersgäst på Eurocon nästa år.

Jag glömde ju diskutera detta på pubmötet men om ingen protesterar högljutt kan vi ju göra som Daniel föreslog att ta den nya författeran och den kortaste boken nu och kanske ta McDonald på nästa möte.
Så jag bestämmer preliminärt nästa bok är Pandemonium av Daryl Gregory.

Det känns inte som att jag någonsin kommer att få tid att läsa en bok i den takt ni gör och lyckas vara med på en cirkel. Så jag undrar om jag kanske ska gå ur listan.
Förresten har jag läst klart Metro 2033 nu. Vet inte vad jag ska tycka riktigt, ganska häftig idé och ganska bra skrivet, men en misch-masch av diverse kliché-iga idéer tycker jag. Och lite snopet slut :)

Du behöver inte läsa alla böcker och delta varje gång. Kom någon gång när du hinner med. Och på mötena där vi diskuterar flera noveller så behöver man inte läsa alla för att delta (om det är ok med spoilers).

Läste klart boken igår och gillade den. Trevligt med en bok som är reltivt kort också.

Om du kommer på medlemsmötet på tisdag kan du ju ta med boken om ingen lånat den. tror det kan finnas folk där som är intresserade om bok finns tillgänglig utan besvär.
