I have to admit to liking Andromeda too, although my reasons are a
combination of Andromeda herself and Tyr. Unfortunately, I've never
been in any doubt that Tyr would always find some excuse for being
noble against his chosen philosophy, but once or twice, things have been
quite good. There have been occasions where, instead of pulling some
ludicrous plan out of his sleeve, Dylan has had to choose the lesser of
two evils, and that helps.
I do get annoyed by the way random characters (Harper, Trance, Rev)
just disappear for whole episodes, sometimes with hardly a comment.
The problem with Andromeda, more than anything else, is that Dylan, as
played by Sorbo, is a wholesome hero. Just like his Herc character, Dylan
never makes you doubt whether he'll do The Right Thing.
