I understand that in the case of Trek, Roddenberry insisted on it for some reason. Even now, STARGATE SG-1, with its amazing writing and opportinuty to go virtually anywhere in the universe, still finds transplanted colonies of homo sapiens on almost every destination they explore. I often think that one reason why STAR WARS was so explosively popular when it came out was that it had the budget and the moxie to show a universe populated by many sentient, non-human alien species of all sorts. Chris Boucher has put a second script on Ebay. This one is a photostat of the original draft of Time Squad. The number is 1166901928. It is listed not too far under the other offering I mentioned before which is Shadow, item 1166301201. If I were buying the scripts, I'd be more interested in Time Squad simply because I would be curious to see how it had changed. Joyce

A little something to drink

I spent today wandering round the reenactment show at Tewkesbury (didn't fight just went up for the market) and upon hitting the booze tent disocvered a tasty looky mead brandy which I had to buy...just for the name... Soma. It's not bright green unfortunately just sort of yellowish but catches the light ever so prettily and oooh it is *nice*. At 40% vol it's a great killer of brains cells and warmer of the middle. yum Leia the soon to be drunk ;-)
